The meeting is held in the library located at 1312 S. 7th Street in Los Banos. National Friends of the Library Week will be celebrated by the Los Banos Friends October 21st through October 25th with events and activities inside and outside of the Los Banos Library. Tuesday October 21^st from 2pm-5pm meet the Friends inside the library to get information on our non-profit, community based organization. Wednesday October 22^nd from 6:00-7:30pm join us in a Friends Book Discussion. Copies of the book "All My Rage" by Sabaa Tahir are available to check out from the San Joaquin Valley Library System, and a limited number of free copies will be available at the Los Banos Library three weeks before the Discussion. Thursday October 23^rdfrom 1pm-3pm the Friends Plant Exchange will be in front of the library. Trade succulents and seeds with the Friends Group. Friday October 24^th from 11:00am-1:00pm Bilingual Friends Family Craft inside the library. Create paper marigold flowers for Dia de los Muertos with the Friends and Library Staff. Saturday October 25^th from 10am-1pm Friends Scavenger Hunt for kids inside the library. "Library Friends" will be hidden throughout the library with clues to help children find each one. More information on these events can be found on the Friends' Facebook page or Instagram. We invite you join the Friends of the Los Banos Library and support us so we can continue to provide stability and support for our lovely library. Your membership donation will enable us to continue to grow our library, maintain the landscaping around the building, and provide special events for children.
